Quality of the product is an important aspect which effects on the product acceptability and cost which is important form Manufacturer as well as consumer point of view. Food quality and safety are crucial parameters for good health and hence food contamination and food adulteration are matter of world-wide apprehension.

Testing is integral for the safety and quality of product. Governments all over the world have brought in place numerous laws and legislations that mandate the industry to ensure the compliance with the quality and safety regulations. Food and water being one of the most important basic needs of human being, are always considered for their quality and purity, by consumer. The increasing awareness of the consumers towards product quality and mandating food regulations necessitates testing of the product. This has been inspired us to establish SITEL Laboratory.

SITEL is a food, agro, and water analytical testing laboratory based at Mumbai, India. It is a prerogative of Muez Hest India Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. SITEL Laboratory is a well-equipped research and innovation center approved by DSIR (Department of Industrial and Scientific Research, Govt. of India, New Delhi) and is accreditated with ISO/IEC/17025:2015 from NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, India) for food testing.

We, at SITEL Laboratory, work on the analytical testing of food, agriculture goods, and water to ensure the quality of the product. We have advanced testing facilities available for proximate analysis of food, quality evaluation of food and water, detection of bioactive compounds, identification of the adulterants in foods, and determination of shelf stability of the food products. We help consumers to select the right product for healthier and better life.

Besides testing, we also work on the new concepts to build nutritional, economical, and sustainable food products which will contribute resolving worldwide issue of hunger and malnutrition.

FACILITIES



SITEL Laboratory is equipped with most latest and modern equipment's for the testing and analysis as per national and international standards. We adheres to standard methods laid down by globally recognized associations like AOAC, AOCS and organizations of National Repute like FSSAI, BIS, and DGHS to avoid uncertainties in the results.

Here, we deal with testing in the field of Food, Water, Agriculture commodities, and Oil. At our state of the art calibrated laboratory we have cutting edge infrastructure, well trained staff, and accreditations which are the base of our reliable and accurate assessment. Our infrastructure is utilized but not restricted to determine proximate composition of food product like milk and milk products, bakery products, beverages, oils and fats, cereal products, and snack products; micronutrient analysis; bioactive compound identification, determination, and stability study; shelf life study of food and oil; water analysis; determine food adulteration and contamination; product development and improvement.
